When you eat real food, good things start to happen to your health. That's why we use only the highest quality unprocessed ingredients in our meals, carefully sourced from local farms and organic producers. Here are our food rules.
We start with whole foods. Ingredients are in their whole, natural state. We source from organic purveyors and local farmers as much as humanly possible. Our coconut milk is made fresh...
Meat and poultry come only from grass fed and pasture-raised sources.
We use extra virgin olive oil and organic virgin coconut oil to prepare our foods. We steer clear of industrial seed oils, like sunflower and canola, which have extremely high proportions of omega 6 fats in relation to omega 3s.
We use healthy fats, such as coconut, nuts, seeds and avocado.
We ferment and culture foods to provide important probiotics to the gut.
We use housemade long-simmered bone broths to provide fantastic flavor and important gelatin and minerals.
We soak and sprout our grains, beans and nuts to reduce phytates and anti-nutrients and to improve digestibility.
We use no added refined sugars. We use only natural sweeteners, such as raw honey, coconut sugar or stevia.
And to promote optimum digestive health:
All our offerings are 100% gluten-free.
